So..its my birthday and its been just kinda blah. At least I had the day off today Huzzah! Most of the day was just kind of relaxing. The kids were in school...oh and mom brought me lunch which was nummy. But...at some point in the day Daniel's boss informed him that he had to give a coworker a ride home because that guys truck broke down. Now that would have been alright, it would have added about a half hour onto his day and he would have been home just slightly later. BUT...then the guy tells Daniel that he HAS to take him to do a work proposal at some customers house which adds on another 2 flippin hours to his day and has him here at 8 o'clock. When Daniel explains that it is my birthday and asks how come the other guy cant take him he says "oh he is at home becuase it is his kids open house tonight" WTF! Now Daniel is mad becuase our sons open house was last week and he missed it too because of work, and he asked for it off specifically. The guy basically was like oh well. Again....WTF! How fucking rude is that? I mean, everything else about the day was good. It was relaxing, mom and I played some backgammon and had a blast and then after dinner they gave me my presents (a kewl fleece jacket, a lightweight pair of pink (with roses) jammies and another pair of jammies with stars/circles/squiggles and all...they are soooo cute and I'll bet they are comfy (I'll letcha know). And then I got some cake and sherbert ice cream so yay for that. I mean, dont get me wrong, I'm okay with my birthday and all...and we are going to be having the big birthday party next week when Adam, Shanel and baby Christian get her cuz mom and dad's birthday is next week too, but that guy at Daniels work seriously pissed me off. I just hope the next time he has something important to do with somebody that his car gets a flat or something and Daniel tells him no when he asks for a ride. Hmphff...that'll teach him.
