Update
So, things have kinda changed with my situation.
Of the good, I went to Orlando for a few days to visit David and had an amazing time. It was good to get away, great to see David and just fun to be in Orlando. I also went on a date last Friday that was pretty fun. Not sure I'll go out with him again since I haven't heard from him since I let him know my other news.
Of the bad, I was laid off at PSI yesterday. I still have the job at HL doing custom framing and I will have unemployment coming in (once the website is done with its maintenance so I can actually file). I've spent the morning cancelling bills that are extraneous (like putting into my IRA...sure, it's good to have an IRA, but right now is not a good time to contribute when I need to, you know, eat). I most likely will not sign up for COBRA. I'm healthy and have no medications/pre-existing conditions to worry about.
I've already talked to my manager at HL and I will be getting some extra hours there.
Anyway, that's what's up with me.
