What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Not a lot really. Went overseas for work rather than leisure. Made a serious attempt at novel writing and realised I was actually capable of doing it. Got lots of public praise for various writing projects. Attended self-confidence classes. Had a nervous breakdown...
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Nope. Not really into resolutions.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sister. Although her baby was born right at the end of last December. But close enough.
Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
What countries did you visit?
France and Sweden, both multiple times.
Describe your birthday
Legion of Dreams. I was crewing. There was cake.
What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
More energy and focus on my PhD.
What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 2nd. DuD. Was engrained on my kind for long enough to be there for a good while longer methinks.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
The various writing projects. Getting a surprisingly high number of actual fans who are demanding more.
What was your biggest failure?
Staying focused on college.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Other than the usual colds etc, just severe depression leading to nervous breakdown.
Did you have to go to hospital?
Yes, for the first time in my life. A badly needed minor operation that has made a big difference. Not saying more, it's a bit TMI. ;).
Whose behaviour merited celebration?
The DuD player base. They have been so amazingly keen and enthusiastic.
Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Pretty much everyone who appears on the news.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
DuD.
Which song[s] will always remind you of 2010?
Anything by Sabaton.

Doctor Who. It's the only show I actually watched, so that's got to count for something.

No. I'm not really the hating kind of person.
What was the best book you read?
'Ravenor' by Dan Abnett. Closely followed by 'The Lost' (Gaunts Ghosts Omnibus 3) by the same author.
What did you want and get?
To attend DuD as a player.
What did you want and not get?
A NERF stampede. It was on my Christmas list, but no one bought me one. :(
Favourite film of this year?
Inception.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Wearing my Warhammer 40K Inquisitor coat around uni and around town. The number of complete strangers who have walked up to me to tell me how awesome it is is quite remarkable.
What kept you sane?
Pills.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
My heart has belonged to Jon Bon Jovi since I was 13.
What political issue stirred you the most?
The university funding thing. The Government have condemned an entire generation to a lifetime of debt. That's not right.
Who do you miss?
The members of the Have Dice roleplaying club in Bournemouth..
Who was the best new person you met?
In real life: Various DuD people. Online: A lovely chap named Adam who lives in America.
Are you happy to see 2010 go?
Yes. Hoping the next one will be better.
