hello again from the land of mr. black.... just a quick update on how technology can help you at a time of need....of sorts
not too many people over the internet land of blog have heard about my recent loss of my job at the pub and the consecutive arrival home in which me and bonni realized that our house had been robbed....for pretty much anything of value we have ever owned (laptop, wii, jewelry, tvs, vcrs, dvd players, flat screens, ps2, bonnis childrens ipods and psp, clothing, 2000 dollars of the cash variety, all of our key rings, and keys,computers, everything down to the bedsheets, literally)
well turns out one of those items had a technology which helped to its recovery...upon putting in the police report....we gave out serial numbers, and really most of it went probably just to another person without making it to a pawn shop.... well turns out yesterday our efforts turned out to be worthwhile....we called video game stores and told all of them that if they get a used wii to come into the store...that is missing the audio video cables, when they would plug it in to see if the system worked ...if they would please check out the "mii" profiles....and found one containing such characters as mr. black, sheera, weird al yankovich, and tweeky (a meth head looking character with huge pupils) to call us...
well it showed up...and we got it back for just a 100 dollar fee...
so all ya'lls with a wii... make sure you have a character in you that has your name to prove identity beyond just the character roughly looking like you
becuze this new technology of putting you into a characterized form....may help you to retrieve your precious wii...
it however still hasnt werked out for any of the items which had serial numbers on them....
