What is it about a retail environment that makes people lose almost all brain functionality almost immediately? Case in point: the place I work does copying and printing. I had a customer this afternoon who wanted a copy of two documents to fit on one piece of paper. An easy thing to do, right? Turns out, they'd both fit on a standard-size 8x11 paper, and I told them so. The following is a reenactment of these events. Only the names have changed to protect the stupid.
Customer: Well, how big is an 8x11?
*Tylinhae shows her a standard sheet of copy paper*
Customer: Yes, but how big is the paper?
Tylinhae: Uh... 8x11.
Customer: I know that, but how big is it?
Tylinhae: Uh... this big?
*Customer rolls eyes and huffs*
Customer: But HOW BIG IS IT?
Tylinhae: It's 8x11!! HEPL!!
