Hi everyone,
Well things here are about the same .Tyler has been doing good and going to school. He seems to like school. The cooler weather is not good for Tyler. He wakes up at night with his legs and jaw hurting and having to take pain meds. It’s getting a little harder for Tyler with swallowing his food, but he is able to do it. He has been sitting around playing his game with his brother. I was looking at Jayden’s pictures and Tyler looked just like him at 4 years old.
I want to ask that you pray for Tyler and this family. We have a long journey yet to travel with Tyler. I hate to know that he will be having surgery around March. Time is going so fast that it will be here in no time, but we have to do what we think is best for our boy. I don’t want to see him on a feeding tube all his life.
Tyler has gained a little he now weighs 60 pounds yay! A LITTLE WEIGHT GAIN IS BETTER THAN NO WEIGHT GAIN.
He still wants a TV for his room for Christmas so he can lie in his bed and play his games after surgery. Hoping we will be able to get it for him. Just think it will soon be Christmas. Another year passed. My boy is ten years old. We have fought a long hard battle since Tyler was two. And with our faith in God we will win. The devil will not take Tyler from us. He has so many battle scars. What a trooper.
Tyler’s foot that he twisted at school is better. I wish I could just make all this better for him. Tyler’s bones are soft and break at the least little thing. He’s a strong kid. I don’t know why he hasn’t had a nervous breakdown by now. He’s still seeing the leg doctor here and the jaw doctor but the jaw is getting worse. Also, Tyler got his report card. A’s and b, and c and a special note from his teacher saying she has never had a child in her class that is more polite and respectful than Tyler. I wanted to scan report card and put on here but the scanner is no good.
We figured it out. Here’s Tyler’s report card. We’re so proud!
JAYDEN, NATHAN AND ETHAN are all doing fine.
Now, about me. I am okay. I still have the e-coli and go back for more tests Wednesday. The antibiotics just don’t seem to be working. I still haven’t heard from the specialist yet hope to hear soon. I need to get well so I can take care of Tyler and be with him for his surgery.
You all are angels and there are just not enough words to say how great full we are to each of you. Thank you all for loving Tyler. He still loves getting all the cards and stickers. We can’t answer every one of them but know that we thank you. Tyler said to me, “Nanny, look. These people really care about me.”
