(no subject)
Jeff and I have been up north all weekend. We've been at the Holiday Inn Express in Pellston (20 miles south of the Mackinaw bridge.) I'll update later on the weekend details. Anyway, on my way up to Sault St. Marie and the Soo Locks yesterday... I get pulled over for speeding on US-31. Haha out in the middle of no fucking where... I get pulled over... only me. He had me on radar doing 76 in a 55 (I'm from Detroit... everyone does 80 around there cause there's freeways everywhere.) So I'm used to going faster than 55. Well anyway... not only was I busted for speeding. I had no proof of insurance. Well I had one, but was my old one from eariler in the year. And the FUNNY thing is.. I didn't know it. Thought I had the new one in the car. Tom got the same ticket cause he didn't have his in his car this past week.. so we went down to the police station and showed them my proof.. and they wrote off his ticket. LOL! The cop didn't even look I guess. So anyway.... I do my normal procedure I do with the cops lately.... smile, flirt, speak very nicely.... all that good jazz. HE DID NOT GIVE ME A SPEEDING TICKET!!! He only wrote me for No proof of insurance! Haha. So I called my hotel last night and had Susan do me a favor. Log in to my insurance policy and print my ID cards and fax them to the hotel I'm at. So I'm okay now... haha.
