munich!
hi dudes! i´m in germany! italy was wonderful, we were in rome for easter weekend and it was pretty rad, but a lot of things were closed for the holiday (like the sistine chapel :[) but we went all thru the vatican and it was breathtaking and really serene. Venice is by far the most beautiful city i´ve ever seen. it even goes beyond edinburough! and very romantic, jason and i are really having such wonderful travels together. it seems that everyone in italy has a dog on a leash, and a gelati in their hand. i found some vegan sorbeto gelati, and was TOTALLY STOKED!!! also, we had some AMAZIING italian dinners, mainly pizzas that were totallz vegan... no cheese, and the best i´ve ever had. lots of walking.
long train ride yesterday, and a beautiful window view of northern italia, and austria. today is our first day in munich, and it´s also desiree´s home city, so it´s exciting for me to check things out! she also emailed us places to go, a beer garten and some indie clubs. we also get a free walking tour of the city thru our hostel, so we´ll do that tomorrow morning (and it´s in english! yay!)
everything has been fabulous, and we´re totally stoked to be sharing some of these incredible memories with each other while seeing the rest of the world. I WANT TO TRAVEL MORE!!!
After munich (we´re here 3 nights) we´re onto Prague, where everything is supposed to be REALLY cheap!!! (yes!!! finally!!! haha) and then into Berlin, where we´re meeting up with some of my german friends who are home for the spring break. THAT SHOULD ROCK!!!
In anycase, i don´t know when my next update will be, because we are so overwhelmed with everything outside and around us, but we´re safe, and happy and sending lots of love to all our friends and family!
