I can't take credit for this. But this response was generated during a debate about the "evolution is only a theory" stickers on text books

Creationist at least have an theory as to where the earth originated.
Secularism has yet to come up with an explanation that meets the standards of its own most precious science. Whether you buy into the "cosmic egg" or the "Thrd planet on the brain" theory you may have found, at the most, a hlaf complete idea as to the origins of earth, but you have not even touched on where these, eggs or planets have come from.
As for evolution, the fact that there has never been one single case of observed evolution, a necessity for it to be considered a scientific fact, a position that the majority of scientist already give it, makes science need more faith than most other religions on the planet.
An omni-present -potent -scient being, or God, not only existing but choosing to create a planet with all of the details that are in this world we occupy is not a matter for "chance" or statistics, for those you need hard numbers, tangibles, known facts, that is why its called faith.
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see" Hebrews 11:1

I don't think anyone saw the world created either. The story of its creation was merely handed down... for all we know it could be a simple explanation like Native Americans have to explain our existence and relationship with the world. So who knows if creationism is true either.
