Title: Quidditch Attack Strategies
Pairing: Cedric/Harry
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: HP is not mine.
When Cho told Harry that she had already been asked to go to the Yule Ball by someone else--by Cedric Diggory, no less--he was devastated. And as time passed, Harry's devastation turned into anger and his anger turned into hatred; as time passed, Harry became obsessed with hating Cedric Diggory.
So when, after an exhausting Quidditch match, Harry decided to sneak into the Prefects' bathroom to relax, he was not just annoyed to see that Cedric was already there. He was angry.
But when Cedric invited him to join him in the bathroom, Harry's anger evaporated and he suddenly felt... embarrassed. Embarrassed for letting something so stupid bother him; embarrassed for being so obsessed with Cedric; embarrassed for making himself look so dumb--so childish.
Harry's embarrassment didn't keep him from saying yes, however. Nor did it keep him from letting Cedric drape an arm around his neck after they were in the bath together, nor did it stop him from letting Cedric Diggory's fingers trace Quidditch attack strategies across his skin.
In the end, Harry decided he didn't hate Cedric after all.
