I have strep throat. I don't know why this feels like a surprise; I get strep almost every year. But this is the first year I do not have people to fetch me popsicles and honey locquat-laced tea and be soothing while I have it. My self medication has involved trying to re-read favorite Buffy fic, but the headache the plasma screen is giving my fever addled brain is turning out to be too much. My head hurts, my throat hurts, I am dizzy and weak and moving does not sound like fun, nor does speaking aloud. And now I can't be on the internet, and I'm bored.
