[STORE] Purchase and Shipping Service for Anime Goods from Japan

Thank you for using my service. All packages have been sent out and I've contacted you for any outstanding payments. This service is now closed until one day perhaps when I head back to Japan again.
So… I’m currently on student exchange in Tokyo and being able to get my hands on various anime merchandise and doujinshi, I thought I’d just start a purchase and shipping service for everyone out there who’s interested in getting their hands on similar stuff while I’m still here. Aside from new items, there are also second-hand doujinshi and artbooks available at various stores.
How It Works (Generally XD)
1) See these sites for items you might in interested in. Items from any fandom are accepted, although I profess to be more familiar with items from fandoms I know, hence if you need to search for certain items, I’ll be able to offer more assistance. Note: Searching for the series using its Japanese name will give you the best results. (Google/Wiki for the kanji/katakana)

I will be getting your orders from all the stores listed above physically (meaning I go down to the store and not order online) except Amazon. Items available in the online catalogues of these stores may differ from the items available in the stores I have access to. Likewise, the stores may still stock items not available or listed as sold-out online. If there are any particular items you are interested in, state the anime/manga and pairing/characters, and I can take photos of items I see at the shops, so that you can get these items if you are interested.
Some shops including Toranoana, Mandarake, as well as Book-off, stock second-hand doujinshi and artbooks. Not all these items are listed online, hence if there are any particular items you are interested in, please provide me with the name, circle/artist, anime, and if possible an image of the item, and I can search for the item for you. Second hand items are usually found in good condition (slight creases/wear and tear) or mint condition, so take note of this if you are interested in second hand items. I am not able to examine most second hand items as they are wrapped for protection, hence I cannot guarantee the condition of the items. From personal experience however, most second hand items I have bought are in almost mint condition.
Specific Store Info with regards to Domestic Shipping
*Amazon Japan offers free domestic shipping on most items. Due to this, if you want to order an item that requires paid domestic shipping, you will have to cover the domestic shipping cost to my address.
*For items from Toranoana, I can order the items online and pick them up from the store subsequently, hence saving on domestic shipping. However, I will have to pay by credit card and there's currency conversion charges. If you are worried the item will run out of stock, I can place the order for the item online, but there will be a 5% surcharge on the price of the item to cover for my credit card charges.
*K-Books offers free shipping on orders of Y3000 or more if you want me to order online but there will be a 5% surcharge on the price of the item to cover for my credit card charges.
*For the other stores, if you want me to order items available online, I can quote you the costs they are offering for domestic shipping. Otherwise, I will be going down to the shops to get them.

*All items are assumed to be first-hand unless you state on the order form that you are looking for it second-hand.
*For requests of second hand items, please indicate the maximum price in yen you are willing to pay for the item. I will purchase the item first and inform you of the price. Please be sure that you intend to order the item when you make the request. If you back out, I will not process the rest of your order.
*I will calculate the cost in the currency you intend to pay by. Due to the currency conversion rates I paid, the rate I offer is not a reflection of current exchange rates. For USD, this is the rate I’m offering: 100Y = USD1.35 Conversion to other currencies are based on this exchange rate from yen to USD, and subsequently the Paypal exchange rate of that currency.
3) I will reply to your comment with a list of the items ordered and the total cost in the currency you intend to pay by, with commission and Paypal charges (dependent on how you choose to pay) included. Breakdown of the costs will be provided.
4) This is the last step where you can change your order. If the items and cost are correct, please comment with this statement ‘I agree with the terms and conditions stated on this page’.
5) I will purchase the items, reconfirm your order based on the items I manage to get and confirm the shipping amount at the post office. This will be the confirmed amount you need to pay.
6) Give me your name and shipping address (comment or PM) and pay the confirmed amount via Paypal.
7) I will send out the items by the shipping method selected after receiving your payment. I'll also post here to keep you updated on the status on your order.

Y50 - Y500 per each character good (pencil boards, clear folders, post cards, posters, straps, figurines, etc.)

Paypal charges are applicable if you choose to pay by credit or debit card. The fees are 2.9% plus $0.30 for US accounts. I will reject any payments where I have to pay the surcharge since this is decided by the sender.
Paypal charges are also applicable for non-US buyers. Please ask for more information about charges, which are generally 3.9% + a small amount in the currency you're paying by. Otherwise, visit this site and calculate your charges.
Shipping
I ship internationally. If I'm not wrong, shipping to most countries is similar to shipping to the US except for countries in Asia (cost is slightly cheaper) and to Europe/South America (more expensive).
Two main types of postage are available from Japan, EMS and SAL (normal). There's also airmail (which is slightly faster and more expensive than SAL) and surface mail (which takes months). Registered mail is also available for an extra Y410. Please inquire if you're interested in these other types of mailing methods.

Charges for envelopes and boxes will be included as well, so don't expect the price on the envelope to be the quoted shipping price.
Doujinshi will be shipped wrapped in newspapers and/or with cardboard backing. Bubble wrap packaging for doujinshi goes for an extra Y30, more for bulkier items. If you would like your items protected, please let me know and expect a higher shipping cost.
Additional charges will be levied for packaging for fragile items like CDs and porcelain items. Please ask for details.
Terms and Conditions
1) Please do not spam when ordering. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
2) In order to purchase any R-18 items, you must be 18 and above. If I suspect you are below 18, I reserve the right to ask for proof of age before accepting your purchase request.
3) Only Paypal is accepted. To avoid the fees, send money using the personal tab -> payment owned, and ensure that you are not deducting money from your card. Any fees charged to me not covered by the payment will mean that your payment has not been made in full and your order will not be sent out until full payment is received. For non-US buyers, unfortunately, from what I can tell, there is no way to pay a lower surcharge than 3.9% ++ via Paypal. If you happen to know and can provide evidence that there is a cheaper rate via Paypal, please let me know.
4) All items will be shipped in their original conditions and packaging. All items shipped will be new unless you are requesting second-hand items.
5) No returns are accepted.
6) Please check that your country’s customs will allow shipment of R-18 material into the country. I will be shipping in discrete envelopes with no indication of the contents. (If anyone at the post office asks, doujinshi will be called books/magazines.) However, I will not be responsible if any items are confiscated by the customs. I will also not be responsible for taxes charged by your country on the items.
7) Once the item has been shipped, I will not be responsible for any damage to the items by the postal service or if the item is not delivered. If you are worried, choose EMS for shipping. Please do not use Paypal’s Buyer Protection to obtain a refund. If you require visual proof of shipping or of the condition of the items, let me know and I’ll provide photos on prior request.
8) Refunds will only be offered in two circumstances. Firstly, if the item runs out of stock and I am unable to obtain the exact item after you have made your payment. Secondly, if the item retails for a cheaper price than you have already paid me.
9) I’m a student so I won’t be able to get the items for you immediately after you have made your payment. Items will be purchased over the weekends (Japan is more than half a day ahead of US time) so you can choose to time your orders if you would like to check the online stock lists. Also, because of my transport costs to get to the various shops, I will only carry out purchases when total commission for the week exceeds Y800.
10) Any potential buyers who fail to abide with these conditions will be blacklisted and their LJ accounts noted and shared with other users offering similar services.
