Though Tyki had promised Zechs that he wouldn't leave him until he was recovered, babysitting a five-year-old in a twenty-year-old body was more wearing than the Noah could possibly have imagined. He had nothing but affection for Zechs as a man, but he was more than relieved when he saw the overwhelmed man drifting off to sleep on his bed.
He'd turned to his computer for distraction and when he'd learned that Rufus had also been afflicted - but was substantially older, mentally, it was just too tempting not to fuck with him. Cross, too, but he was a bit too dangerous to go after, even if he didn't remember he was a General right now. Who knew when it would wear off?
He composed a halting and grammatically-inept note to Milliardo in German to explain that he had had to go after someone, and would be back in a few hours, and to ask the Akuma outside the door if he needed anything, but not to go wandering. Then he placed the most intelligent Akuma he could find outside the door and instructed it in no uncertain terms to keep the human inside the room alive, but make sure he stayed put.
Then he locked the door, suffered through a qualm, and then headed off after Rufus.
When he stepped through the doorway, he recognized the city of Venice outside the nearest window instantly. He had triangulated as best he could on the building where Rufus was, and had attempted to place himself as close to the location of Rufus' IP address as he could, so he looked around for the blond.
As with Zechs, he was in full human mode, not looking like a Noah, though he was dressed smartly. He had left off the top hat and his hair fell in a tumble over his forehead, and this time he'd elected to wear his glasses so as to seem even less assuming.
