But he also remembers looking at all of his friends, watching their activities when they were possessed ... and how his Shadows felt glad for it. Amused, or grateful, or thinking they were somehow freed. Even Saguru. For all he knew of his friend, that would have been exceptionally difficult. And especially Tyki - to lose what little humanity he had as a Shadow had to bother him as well.
Exhausted and brooding, Zechs said little when he took a large sip of his mug. He did, however, turn around and shamelessly burrow against his husband, wordlessly thankful they were both sane and safe. No lasting effects of any physical nature, either. He didn't have any of those piercings, or that shameful tattoo.
He had quite forgotten Tyki had said they'd need to discuss something once this was all over.
