Then occasionally, very occasionally, he would feel a ripple of pain that didn't seem from any hit. It seemed like nothing. By the time it reached this level, he feared what Zechs would say if he told him and he found out he had been hiding his worsening situation all this time.
"He asked me if I was hiding anything from you, the bastard, knowing I was under the influence of the virus. I mentioned this and Grimmjow and Ggio." He winced and hurriedly went on. "It's not that I felt I couldn't tell you... it was just nothing at first, and then I didn't know how to tell you that I'd never said anything. And...and I don't know what you can do, or what anyone can do to help. And I know how badly you handle being forced to do nothing when I'm in trouble..."
He swallowed and reached out hesitantly, slipping his arms around Zechs' neck. "I should have told you sooner..."
