Zechs rested his head against Tyki's shoulder, after kissing the man lightly in return. He knew it would have been nearly impossible for him to say no. Just as he knew 'no strings attached' was likely to conceal some price all the same. Knowing which answer the Noah wanted to hear, but not having the ability to lie to him now, he said softly, "From perhaps any other god, my dear heart, I would have encouraged you to take such an offer with both hands. Such a gift easily given could be easily taken away. I ... I do not wish to see you in such a situation."
His hands held fast onto the Noah, feeling a little relieved at this additional detail, but his worries lay mostly with the goddess, not the evil his lover had hosted. Zechs continued, trying to mute his worry with logic, "I do not blame you for accepting her offer. Not in the slightest. I ... I can only wish this had come from another source."
