The Duke is a scientist. He's not going to be put off by some superficial explanation if it hints at something previously unknown to him. Other universes and underworlds would definitely count.
And when I say the demons in my world work for me, I mean they work for the Duke. I don't think he'd ever believe one would try to hurt me or kidnap me.

He's an alchemist, actually. It's not what you're thinking. He doesn't do horrible things to human subjects or anything like that. Not that I know of, anyway.

The Duke loves me, Saguru. There is no need to be worried for my safety where he is concerned. Honestly, you and Zechs both fret so where he is concerned.
Truly, if it were not so, then he would have abandoned me now instead of rescuing me from Cross and nursing me back to health. I am useless to him, after all, without my powers.
He has affection for me, truly, I am not just a tool.

More detectives, that who. Kuroba Kid already call me territorial, but it's not only that. If they discover about us being..alies, in lack of a better word, they will say that the whole investigation about the Kid case is compromised, and I can't put my Father's job and Nakamori-Keibu's position in danger.

Well, there's nothing wrong with being territorial, in my opinion. I can be pretty territorial with those who are important to me, as well.
I suppose I can understand their position, as well. Work politics are frustrating, aren't they? If there is anything I can do to help, I hope you'll let me know.
