Tyki had intended to meet Phoenix in person - while they were both in their right minds - for some time now. Tired of assembling furniture, and of shopping, he and Zechs had agreed to take a break for a while, and Zechs had some duties in Gaia to take care of.
After checking in with the Ark, Tyki impulsively opened a doorway to a place he had prepared for just this sort of mood. He was bored, and wanted to meet someone new, and possibly toy with that person...just a little.
It was 5:00, quitting time for most normal office-workers, though lawyers often kept longer hours. He stepped through a glowing white doorway into Wright and Co. Law Offices and looked around with curiosity.
He ran his fingers over the intimidating-looking law books on the shelves, but didn't pull any out. Then he walked to the window and looked across the way to see a hotel. Gazing out the window and watching the world pass by, he waited for Phoenix Wright.
