Colleges Can Be Dumb Too
I have no IDEA what Reslife was thinking cramming a huge freshman class into the dorms this year. I'm working with a staff of 72% entirely new hires with no experience in their current positions. On top of this I'm the haggard tech assistant to a hall with 100+ more residents than it had last year that almost all showed up on Sunday. Patience is not a virtue they possess, there is one of me and about 500 of them.
This isn't even mentioning the social repercussions of converting what were double rooms to triple rooms, and the roommate issues between friends that had planned to live together and their new third wheel. All this not being my problem to manage, but I do live in this hall and the cattiness of some girls still floors me. How selfish and insensitive can people be?
To bed, then tomorrow to another day of installing anti-viruses and log-in clients.
