Games Completed, continuation

Ok So I realized I forgot to mention two games I've beaten in the last school year.

+.Hack// G.U. : So I finally completed this 3 installment sequel to the older .hack/ game (which I've never played, I mean too but I'll have to find someone to borrow it from). I played this because Danril requested I do so telling me it was LIEK THE BEST THING EVARR! I... do not feel the same. It suffers too much from the "Why do I cares?" like "Why do I care that Haseo lost this girl? Haseo is a worthless idiot and the more pain this game causes him, the more power to it I say." I probably don't care because I don't envision myself as Haseo, the main character voiced by the same english voice talent who lent his voice for SASUKE in the Naruto english dub. Haseo for the first 2 discs is a whining, brooding, piss-ant who EVERYONE LOVES FOR NO DISCERNIBLE REASON! Seriously? He's a jerk who hurts people, shows no interest in anyone but himself, and is obsessive in his pursuit of POWER! This kind of thing is the exact same as what bothers me about Sasuke in Naruto. Anyway, he's not really like able, there are a few redeemable support characters also sporting voice talents used for the english dub of Naruto (Endurance, voiced by Liam O'Brian (Gaara); Sakaki voiced by Crispin Freeman (Itachi); Matsu voiced by David Wittenburg (Kakashi); Yata voiced by Stephen Baum (Zabuza, Orochimaru)), but it's hard to really care about anyone. It does become a VERY GOOD game in it's finally, developing the characters, tieing up loose ends and having EPIC heart of the cards end battle moments. However I can't really forgive this game for the stupidity of the first two parts. Each disc took me about 22 hours, the game is PAINFULLY easy causing me only mild discomfort in the final boss battle. It is however very pretty, and the concept of a virus in the internet affecting people in the real world, and the addictiveness of online MMORPGeR's is intriguing.

+Shadow Of the Colossus: One of my new favorite games. Not much too it, you are an unnamed hero who brings a dead girl to a forbidden temple in hopes of recovering her soul, very greek. You are told in order to do the impossible you must slay 16 colossi. So off you go on your horse with just your sword and your bow. Essentially it's a game of 16 boss fights to the end, each colossi is different and for those of us who love the thrill of figuring out a big monster's weakness and KICKING IT'S ASS, then patting yourself on the back for your cleverness will enjoy this. Took me about 10 hours to complete, so it's a fairly short game, but after you beat it in your next game there's a time attack mode which allows you to get extra items.
