Spring Break
Oh man x.x this school year seems to be flying by. I think it's the chemistry and the 16 hours of lab I do a week on top of lectures, homework... sleeping... eating... sneaking in video game time >.> OH YES, which reminds me.
-big announcer voice- VIDEO GAMES I HAVE RECENTLY COMPLETED!!!
+Okami : ;w; very pretty and at the same time fairly hard to become GOOD at. It took me about 48 hours to complete and yet felt much shorter.
+Psyconauts: THIS IS THE MOST FUN I HAVE EVER HAD PLAYING A GAME! It's cute, it has amazing character and level design. The range of psychic powers makes game play varied and interesting and it's just in all a great big fun bucket of monkeys :3. Took me 20 hours to beat ;w; I wish it would let me dink around after end game but oh well. AND Stephen Baum voices the conspiracy agents in the Milkman Conspiracy level, extra awesome.
+Pikmin 2: I'd been putting off finishing this since I think 11th grade. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pikimin, but for some reason there came a point when I got SO FRUSTRATED with this game that I could find no way to continue. (This was probably the point were the Man-at-Legs pulled out it's LASER BEAM CANNON D: and annihilated all my pikimin at once leaving only me standing there going "WTF D:") However, the second I started up again I cleared the few remaining levels easily, which makes me wonder why I thought it was so difficult to begin with and also makes me feel like my gamer muscles have BEEFED UP, if only a little bit. :3c
+Tales of Symphonia: New Dawn: This it the sequel title on the Wii for my favorite JRPG of all time TALES OF SYMPHONIA -rain of hearts- and I was surprised to find out... it's good! :D Well as good as a sequel can be, pretty much ALL the voice talents got replaced which makes me very sad when playing. They look like the people I knew, but the second they open their mouths it's like "AHHH D: what is that dreadful sound, WHO ARE YOU!" Eventually I adjusted... 3/4's of the way through the game. Which is also a problem I had. The original was 80 HOURS at LEAST, this is umm 40, 50 hours the way I play it. :/ Disappointing, but the ending-- EXCUSE ME 2 ENDINGS (hint: if you kill your friends you get a 3 minute ending which is pretty much a slap to the face saying "OK you obviously didn't get the point, DO IT AGAIN". So you do it again and SURPRISE 30 minute ending XD), are heart-string-pulling enough for me to be satisfied; because isn't that a point of a JRPG? To make you sympathetic to all these troubled teens saving the world? derp derp
Oh I also finished GUNDAM WING... all I have to say is, "Was any of that supposed to make any sense?" XD. I think this best sums it up, there's a line Quatre says at the end of the last episode that goes, "I get it, Herro's the REAL heart of outer space."... WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN? :O I still liked it anyway, it got me to care about the characters (except Wu Fei) and and about 20 episodes in I was all the sudden on the edge of my seat and I thought "Wait a sec when did I start CARING? XD". -shakes fist-
Well back on topic, my Spring Break starts at 1:30 pm today :3 and god do I need it. I had 3 exams yesterday (1st at 9am, 2nd at 5:30pm, and 3rd at 8:30pm) I'm just going to go home and collapse on my family. :) OH and one last thing, on the 21st I turn 20 years old. x.x
