Jewelry Project Update
I said I'd post sketches before I started construction.
I didn't.
I thought I'd post pictures of the items in progress.
I didn't.
I have two necklaces to finish, and then I'm stalled until the last bits arrive. I have to order those last bits almost immediately so they arrive as soon as possible so I can be done before the first of July.
Here's what I have done as of the time of this posting:
White moonstone (natural, faceted) with sterling silver on a steel 'cable' choker
Yellow ("Topaz") Cubic Zirconia with Swarovski crystal links (rhodium plated) and sterling chain.
Violet Cubic Zirconia with Swarovski crystal beads on "illusion cord" with sterling findings.
I may have to restring this one because the left (in the photo) side is not straight/flat.
Emerald (Lab created) with Swarovski beads on sterling.
There will be earrings to match this necklace.
Sapphire (Lab created) with Swarovski pearls and rhinestone rondelles with sterling findings.
There will be earrings to match this necklace also.
Red Cubic Zirconia with black onyx, sterling, and Swarovski beads with sterling findings.
Gray moonstone (natural) with sterling and marcasite setting and beads on black leather cord with sterling findings.
Black onyx (dyed), Swarovski and sterling beads, on sterling. This is a two necklace set; one necklace with the cabochon pendant, the other with the sterling and onyx spider. They sit well together.
These are the other five Jewels -- Tiger Eye (natural), Pink Sapphire (lab created), Hematite (probably created), Topaz (believed to be natural), and Opal (triplet; from Australia).
I am not sure how to get better photographs at the moment, I'll do some reading and take better pics before I send these off to the art show and, hopefully, their new owners.
They are, or rather will be, for sale, but I am not posting prices tonight. If you are interested, please let me know. I can attempt to recreate, or alter any of these designs if you want.

This is the rose leather and sterling silver choker I made for qt3_141592 as part of that crafty meme that popped up a few months ago.
I am completely willing to make leather chokers for anybody who wants to buy, sterling beads/findings or cheaper if you prefer. There are different colors of leather cord available, poke me and I'll get you the list.
