(no subject)
i love living in a neighborhood. when i go on runs, our mailman waves to me.
so i didn't get the job at the rock gym, but have kinda-sorta been offered a position in the spring. I'm going out to Smith this weekend with my instructors and helping to teach a rock 1 class. basically free camping and climbing. i have to teach a little bit and probably will be put on the spot and might have to do some campfire cooking. but i'm so okay with that trade-off.
so i applied to borders. went in to meet the GM, everything was going...averagely...until she asked me what my last name was, again, and then it went fabulously. "Oh, you're Gina's daughter!" laughing, hugs, I'll keep an eye out for your application and tell everybody to do the same, etc. so we'll see.
my friend phillip and i got some free bubbly tea drinks today. i find this worth mentioning.
i don't know what i'll do about borders vs. the rock gym in the spring. i guess we'll just have to wait and find out.
fuck, midterms monday. i don't know how i'm going to get ANY studying done this weekend. we leave at 7am saturday, get back 5 pm sunday. take it along, i guess. study in the van/by headlamp at night/whilst belaying? oh wait.
