In which she's too excited to sleep.
It's snowing!
Actually, it's more like a sleety-icy-snowy amalgam right this moment, but there's white stuff on the ground, the roads and my car right now. I'm supposed to work today, but I don't know; by the time there's anyone actually at the store for me to be able to go in, I don't trust the road conditions. Especially since the sidewalk was wet when i walked out there ... wet means that in an hour or so, it'll be icy, and icy isn't good.
Just an hour later, it looks like winter finally.
Another hour later, and look how pretty!
*sigh*
And just as quickly as the snow began, it has stopped .. or rather, it has changed to a wet, icy mess, which started coming down about 9:30 am. I'm very glad my boss told me I could always go in tomorrow .. though I have my doubts as to how fun the driving will be tomorrow. At least I can stay home today, get homework done, maybe work more on my essay for English and finish up my Spanish and Psychology work. And knit. And weave too, now that I've finished the shawl I made for myself. The towel's not coming out near as nice as I'd like for it too, but it'll do, I suppose.
