Fall Semester
While I wait still for Mosaic and HireRight to figure out where they left me .. my information keeps getting lost with HireRight and so I don't yet have an employee number so I can't yet do my 5-hour online training session, nor get scheduled for my in-field training. I did learn from my boss though that she wants to cross-train me for another program, which is fan-fucking-tastic. Likely will mean more money, at least in terms of hours, so I'm pleased as punch! Anyway, while I wait, I'm trying to decide what classes I want to take at PTC, once all my transcripts are in and I can register for classes.
Here's what I'm considering, just because my desk is currently a deathtrap and I need to organize my thoughts. I'm planning on taking probably 3 classes, -maybe- 4.
Art History and Appreciation and/or Music Appreciation - I always wanted to take Art and Music appreciation, never did. I should now.
Solar System Astronomy - Because I need Science credits, and I hates Biology, precious.
Intro to Business - I'm not sure I took this, might need to refresh either way.
English Composition I and II - I'm not sure if mine will transfer, I took them so long ago, and yet again, because it's been so long, a refresher might not be a bad idea.
American and/or World Literature. - Because I typically love lit classes.
Small Business Management - I do want my own business, so what better class to take than this?
Retailing - being that I'm going into the retailing business, this might be a perfect class for me to take.
Contemporary Mathematics, College Algebra or Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry I - I desperately need a refresher in my maths .. I was up to Finite Math and Calc III and Linear Algebra 10 years ago ... but that was 10 years ago.
Introduction to Philosophy and General Psychology - Another two classes I always wanted to take but never could get around to.
Elementary Spanish I and II - I haven't taken any spanish since high school. I want to take languages, so I need to start over I think.

Keyboarding - Because I never took it and I probably should.

I need a school and/or workstuff icon.
