By the way .. Jason is desperately searching .. and thus, I am doing so on behalf of my beloved, for a candle scent called 'Amber and Ash'. It was made some time ago by Candles by Cows, but their website is no longer loading, and I can find no evidence of them. I realize this probably means they are out of business. But if anyone happens to know of a place I can find said scent .. or possibly knows a place making candles with it .. or has an idea what might have gone into such a scent so I can make him candles myself .. I'd -really- appreciate it.
We started decorating today. I have a white tree that I decorated with my traditional blue and white lights, and white, blue and silver bead garland. It's beautiful. It's sitting on the porch .. though I think I'm going to take a white trash bag and some brick and anchor it a bit better in front of the house. It'll look better I think.
Rent: It was phenomenal. There were a few things left out, but they weren't necessary necessarily to continue the plot. Things like the answering machine messages, and the chorus parts, and the song 'Contact', which has become my least favorite song since actually seeing the show. I've read a few complaints about the part where Roger goes to Santa Fe, but I think it works. I was sobbing in the movie, of course. It's an emotionally charged show on Broadway, and the movie is as much if not moreso. I was very glad I remembered to bring tissues. Movie theater napkins are hell on the face.
