What Naughty My Little Pony Are You?
So, we spent the better part of this week at Myrtle Beach with my parents. Yes, we survived .. (those of you that actually know my parents will understand that perfectly!) .. though not without a sunburn souvenier for each of us. Grrr. But the trip was nice .. we had our own room, cos the room my folks had wasn't really fir for sharing. Eigth floor of this high-rise resort hotel, with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Have I mentioned yet how much I love the ocean? I do .. it energizes me I think ... it's the only proof that I am indeed a water sign. We didn't do a heck of a lot though .. we walked the beach a few times, and both of us sat out on the balcony to get some sun ... which is how we both got burned. We got delivery for dinner one night, went out to this place that was supposedly one of the best restaurants in Myrtle Beach the next, and had lunch ad Planet Hollywood the last day there. The rest fo the time we ait fruit, and drank lots of water, and basically just lounged around. It was relaxing, and unhurried, and I really didn't have to spend that much time with my mother .. ysy! *winks*
I will have pictures soon, I have to download them off my camera, and get the disposable camera developed. Today we have our goodbye dinner with Jason's dad, since he's ... supposedly .. leaving for Korea tomorrow. He got a contract (thanks again lawchicky!!) to teach kids in a lnaguage school in South Korea. He's all gung-ho about it, at lest outwardly, though Jason and his sister seem to think he's waiting for someone to ask him not to go .. of course, noone's going to! I dunno .. I just know -I- wouldn't be moving anywhere near North Korea right now, even if the contract does have a clause that allows for the evacuation of foreign citizens if the embassies decide it's necessary.
