Best quote of the week from a co-worker: "she's not a appropriate boundary type of person". It's hilarious when all of a sudden you realize you're using therapy language when a simple "she's pushy" would have done it. I find myself doing it more and more... gotta lay off the school books now that I'm done.
Today was just strange. Met up with Amanda, Mimi, and the two kids at Chipotles (first time there) for lunch. I'm looking after them on Monday since A and Chris have to go to NY for a couple of days. Should be fun, maybe I'll take them to check out Nancy Drew. Anyway, afterwards, passed by the used book store and when I went back to the car... it wouldn't start. First response "you've got to be kidding". Second response, much less polite. Finally called AAA and they sent someone out. In the hour that it took, called my other friend Amanda, who lived nearby, and she was awesome enough to come hang with me while we waited. So, AAA comes... he tells me to start it... and it does. What?!?! So, sheepishly, I apologize, but he does some magic thing with his machines and tells me that my alternator might be to blame. So, dropped it off and got a ride from my mum who worked nearby. Not really irritated actually, whatever, was initially annoyed, but hey, coulda been worse, and didn't really inconvenience.
Excited about what I got! Although did buy a couple (or more) paperbacks, I actually found some decent therapy resource books.
I've been craving humus, gonna go see if we have any.
Oh yeah, AAA told me I reached my limit of calls for the year. Can't get into trouble until Sept 1. I'm finding that funny.
