You don't see many depictions of mountain lions or cougars unless they're...well...you know. I liked this piece because it used a feline not often rendered in nonsexual situations. The artist didn't use many colors but in so doing achieved a rich background of simple shading accented by the occasional brilliant blue or red. The background in particular is well rendered.
