college update
Well I applied to North Seattle Community College this morning, and they accepted me, which I guess isn't really surprising seeing as, you know, they're a community college, so they'll take anyone. Ugh, I need to brush up on my math. I took pre-calc for crying out loud! And while I still use some simple algebra on a regular basis, I'm sure the placement test will be more difficult than that. It's so weird that I took a 7 year break after high school. I mean, I didn't plan it that way, that's just sort of how it's worked out. Good grief.
I have split pea soup cooking at home in my crock pot. I am excited to see how it turns out. When I left the place reeked of garlic. I'm hoping it cooks off a bit.
No one's in the office today. Just me and Jackie and Amy. It's pretty sweet. We're having a little cheese party. I brought in "winey goat" and manchego. The manchego's a little strong, but still good.
