more appliance woes
Yesterday morning, my toaster worked.
This morning, it did not.
I would push the lever down, but it wouldn't stay down, it would just come right back up. The only thing different about this morning to any other morning is that I accidentally left two slices of bread in the toaster all night long. This is due to an abandoned attempt to make a snack before going out. I was tempted quite effectively to leave early with mac and cheese, which was delicious, I might add (thanks again Ari!). But I don't see how this would break my toaster.
I'll try it again soon, and if it still doesn't work I think I'll just get a toaster oven. It'll come in handy anyway for making little treats that come out too soft in the microwave, and take too long to heat up the whole oven.
