South Korea - Final Day

Sep 04, 2010 05:07

Started the morning with a lecture on computer graphics and animation. It was pretty interesting. Afterwards we got to see where they did their motion capture and stuff. Lots of big robotic cameras.

Then we had lunch. I ate a cheeseburger from Burger King. :P

Then we walked all the way across campus in the sauna they call outdoors to find KAIST t-shirts, only to discover the store was closed for lunch. So since we walked all that way we waited for them to re-open. I found and purchased the only shirt in korea with korean on it. Everything else is in english (though I don't think they always know what it means).

Had our last workshop where we storyboarded our idea. Ours was the best :P Artistically, anyway.

Had dinner on campus with faculty. Fancy white tableclothes and spectacular view, felt like a wedding. Presented Josh with a gift card to express our appreciation for two weeks of translating, guiding, ordering food, and probably staying out later and more often than he'd like. He was like "what did I do?" Haha.

Turned in super early in anticipation of waking up at 3 to catch the bus to the airport. Long day of travel ahead.
