The weekend that was XD
demonasatana and I went to find Blick Art Supply down past Astor Place yesterday. Got a good frame for my beloved Francomania print. The pre-cut Mat is no good, so I'll need sis' X-Acto knife to make it 13x13. Well, on the black Matboard I bought.
It's a good thing I talked to the cashier about the Preferred shoppers thing they got. Free for students/Art Teachers and $10 for non. Managed to wave sis over, had her show her Art Institute ID, cashier set her up with the card and used it to save me 10% off my frame and matboard. Can I hear a HOO-RAH? XD
Saturday we were planning on seeing the Intrepid Sea/Air/Space museum before it gets shut for keel-hauling, but we're allergic to huge swarms of Tourists :p
So we stayed in and played AC:WW.
That's pretty much it for the weekend. We iz lame, yes, yes we know :p
And for today, I'm off doing my periodic must support the local and indie music scene, mostly because it is totally dead at work, but also because these people deserve to be heard :)
Now if I could, I would curl up under the cubicle and take a nappy nap.
