It occurred to me that one of the reasons I'm often loathe to go out to clubs or other somewhat fashionable events is because my wardrobe is all jeans and t-shirts, I don't really have anything I like to wear that actually looks sharp, nor do I have comfortable shoes that aren't tennis shoes. This is no longer true. I'm slowly rebuilding my wardrobe, at least when it comes to going out on the town. I got a totally random come-on from a gay dude at the Inferno, even. Not sure if I should count that as a success or if it just means I need to rethink my style, or what, but still!
Also, I'm a little disappointed with 'dilettante', 'scatterbrained', and 'indecisive'. All of them have negative connotations or multiple definitions where one definition is totally negative and doesn't describe me at all. There should be a word that describes someone with a lot of interests (breadth rather than depth), but one without the shades of frivolity, weakness, and pretense that words like dilettante, scatterbrained, and indecisive have.
