Goodbye 2010...

This year was quite a ride.
I gained friends, patched up things more with mom, still have my excellent significant other [ah yeah ;)], got to meet some of the celebrities I admire [Wil Wheaton and LeVar Burton, for instance], kept my job, and attended 2 Cons, among other things.
But it's the big moments that people often ask about, so, with the aide of some photos and art, this is the mish-mashed not-completely-in-order listing of 2010:
I became an aunt--holy crap, that makes me sound responsible! ...
And becoming an aunt resulted in this being made for the nephew. For all the tumult surrounding the child, I have some hope that he'll grow up and become a reasonable human being...
In May, SamuraiKo, Blood Speaker, Jer, and I attended the Phoenix ComiCon; it was AWESOME...
My shift at work starts at 0600, which allowed me to start getting photos like this on a fairly regular basis...
It rained...
It cleared...
I got see Weird Al in concert! ...
Kenny Loggins too (yes I like his music; tis good to chill too) ...
We made it to PAX Prime! And...
Got to partake of all of the awesomeness therein...
And still had time to hang out with some fellow gamers from City Of Heroes/Villains...
Had fun and silly moments with Jer's family (especially the kids) ...
Went on a road trip with Jer and his family...
Made it to and survived the holidays...

Made some serious headway with my art AND got a guest comic spot with Monster Commute for December 31st 2010...
And made it to the end intact and happy overall.
For all the ridiculous and stupid things that happened, for all the weeks of getting home from work and wanting to rip out my hair, for the moments of panic, for the sweetest things ever... 2010 was a good year overall. I'm happy, I'm alive, and I intend on continuing the trend.
Here's to us all and here's to a new year with new moments :D
