This was actually written last July... it was intended to be the bonus story for the Short Stories book, but as that one is on indefinite hiatus, and I've been sitting on this thing for six bloody months, I think it's time to just give up and post it.

Besides, I rather like it, and it's been ages since I actually posted anything worthwhile. So.

So. Cleverly. Written. I mean, just the names themselves were wonderful (Dragon=Chao Mian = hahahahahaha)!

*laugh* This was great. I especially love how Vel's reaction to all of them was just "Meh. Not my type." I always wondered what would happen in a fairy tale if that occurred...and now I know. XD

Oh, I'm sure that Irian can extend Vel's life. It'd be one of those Big Complicated Godmother spells that pwns all. *nod* ^^

Yes, I did post the first few paragraphs eons ago as a sort of teaser. ^^; That, and because George amuses the hell out of me. ^____^

*snerk* I had to go with the cliche, since everything else was so silly, but I am glad that I pulled it off without it being too silly. ^^;

This. Is. Awesome. George is as much <3 as Vel's ear-blush. The dragon was adorable, and now it is my duty to request stuff about all those princes, dukes, lords and emperors that were deemed wanting!

Heh. I had originally planned to write a story for the Emperor, but it tanked in the worst of ways and I never got back to it. >.>

*snerk* Irian is very matter-of-fact. ^^ I do rather wonder myself what brought on the need to add that line to his introductory speech. ^^;; Maybe I'll drabble it.

I do so hope we finally get to see the Emperor story at some point. Also the Duke someone mentioned down there!! Reminds me a little of Maderr's Highwayman/Regency novel where Bart was always helping everyone else in their relationships and he was so hopeless at them (or something.) ...OTOH, Who's Shaula? MORE KIDNAPPED YAY. UM.
