This is a Kidnapped-verse sidestory. Amazingly enough, I didn't put any cameos in it, so it can be read as a stand-alone. ^^; It does, however, contain elements that were first mentioned in Breaking Protocol, No Matter What, and Different from Kidnapping. Just FYI

That being said, awesomesauce. :D :D My only quibble is the intro to that first sentence; it seems very long. Shuffling the order of the words might help, like: "The station lights were set to quarter strength, and the gentle glow of the data screens and monitor lights..." Otherwise, brill!

Aw, these poor gay boys, never thinking they are worthy of each other. I can't believe Zanson had his ship keyed to Yaral's identification, ahaha. Wishful thinking? XD

Um, what exactly do Daneubians look like, again? I totally forgot they looked non-human until you were like, "Purple fur! lollz." I wanna draw one!

*laugh* My original concept of Daneubians had them looking a lot like a brightly-colored Cousin It. ^^; Only I think they have somewhat largish ears that would disrupt the flow of fur... 9.9 Anyway, yeah. ^^; Loooong fur. Zanson, though, keeps his short, so he looks pretty significantly different. :) *ponder* They have somewhat gelfling-like faces, but different ears... um.. think maybe Chii from Chobits, only more ear-like? >.o Yeah. ^^; *wanders off to ponder this s'more*
