LOL Changes...

This weekend, my LOL and I were supposed to go to the zoo and coo over baby marmosets, but due to her persistent respiratory infection, we didn't. Goldie is a boy, yes, and, as I say, about half the size of Northey. She has grudgingly tolerated other cats in the past, but "grudgingly tolerated" isn't very happy making over the longer term.

I hope the move is a good one for her. So sad about her cat though! It seems like they just found each other so recently.

Well, this is Cat #2, remember, the replacement for defective Cat #1. Cat #2 seems like a resilient soul who will quickly come to bond with and love the person who feeds him.

I passed the word on to shenya; she's in Christchurch, I think. Surprised you two didn't already know each other; I'd have introduced you ages ago if I'd realized.

Good luck to your LOL; how sad she can't take her kitty with her, but other than that it sounds like life will be a lot easier for her in the new place. Good luck to you as well; I know you've been worried for her, and hopefully that will ease now too.

Christchurch is a ways away and I don't got here very often. With all the earthquake disruption down there, I think I'll focus the cat rehoming efforts here, but thank you!

I do, however have friends in Wellington. Do you mind if I post a link to my facebook to poke them?

Your LOL is fortunate to have someone who not only can help her make this transition, but who (IMHO) has helped open up her world a bit. Good on ya, mate!
