I hardly ever post here any more. I feel like this is my red-headed step child, of sorts. I still read my friends postings, but a lot of them do not post on a regular basis either. I have managed to dig out the basement, after the flood of 2009 and found lots of things, trashed more things and made boxes to mail out to others. It is really starting to look like a basement and living area (again) and not some pit of Hell, filled to the rafters with crafting shit. I made a point of going through every single box and getting rid of a lot of things! I folded every single piece of fabric I owned and managed to get it down to 2 suitcases worth. The rest has been purged and is either going to Grammy for quilts and I got 2 bags worth of scraps for this one guy that comes into work (he is a missionary) to take to Peru with him for the kids. He said they like things like that and I have so many odds and ends and bits, I am sure those kids can make things out of some of it. All of my holiday things are in boxes, WITH NO CO-MINGLING! I can go straight to the Halloween stuff when I want!! Same for Christmas! Yay! for a flood making me get all organized! Now, if I could just figure out a practical and EASY way to store my rubber stamps and card making/scrap booking supplies, I would be ELATED!!!

Fall is here, leaves are starting to change and this makes me happy/sad. Happy because I love seeing it happen, but sad at the same time, knowing Winter is on it's way and snow will be flying!

Went to the Alice Cooper concert last night. It was pure cheese but it was a delicious cheese. Took me right back to being a kid, listening to the babysitter's LPs. It was good times and amusing! It was as to be expected, nothing new or different, but still GOOD TIMES! I even ended up buying a shirt for 10 bucks which is an AWESOME deal, considering a beer was 7 freaking bucks!! Had a good time, other than my back hurting like a MOFO and the pain pill I took prior to leaving for the concert making me feel all out of whack.

Work is still work. I have a love/hate relationship with that place, I swear. Some days, I don't mind it at all, then others, I can't bear to drag myself in there. Today, hopefully, won't be that bad. I gotta be at work at 3. Yeah.

Tom is still making beer and winning awards. Today, he is at the Renaissance Festival, he placed in something but won't know more till later. He got a First place and a Second place for some beers he sent off to Dayton, Ohio.

Jake had his Senior pics made this week. He wanted Finger Guns to pass out to all his friends.

Other than that, not a lot going on. Work, sleep, repeat.

Hope you are all well!
