Put your hands up for Detroit! I love this city.

My Friday night usually consists of one of two scenarios. I've over booked myself to hang out with various friends, or I have nothing to do except hang out at home being bored. More so when my father arrives back in Melbourne. Actually now that I think about it, he's arriving on a Saturday. Whew, can still go out one more time.

At any sort, I had three options last night. Head out really late and go to Nemesis 'cause Shea dragged Jade out of their house and that girl definitely needs to start being more sociable. If Dubbo is going to have such an effect on people, then I hope to hell I never have to end up there. Jesse would be arriving back in Melbourne and heading off to CQ nightclub. Lastly, Cox was meant to be doing something at Bar Nothing. Given that the last time I'd see him before Sweden would be next Thursday to which everybody else would be there as well, and my general love of that which is Bar Nothing I was kinda hoping for the third option.

Ended up heading off to CQ after a couple of really nice drinks at Journal Café, replete with random conversations from complete strangers over the pros & cons of my lil' Blackberry Pearl. Which admittedly has its ups and downs. Oh well. I thought it would be the best option, given if Jesse et al bailed pretty early and/or it turned out to be a pretty lousy night, I would head on down to Nemesis. Turned out actually to be a damn fine night after all. Line was incredibly huge, but I managed to get in under 15 minutes, even Troy joining me in the line and a heap of guys in front of us. Quite unusual actually. In my general experience if you've got at least a dozen guys before you in the line, it will take at least twenty minutes before one can enter given the girl/guy ratio clubs can legally enforce in Melbourne.

Things I remember from the night:
  • CQ was packed as always.
  • Jesse and I dance a lot. I think we were the last two out of our group who could actually go that long.
  • It shows how little salt there is in my diet and how long it has been since I've gone out and danced that hard given the cramps in my legs.
  • I can never seem to get brunettes to dance with me. Random blondes were all over me. Probably because I have zero interest in Blondes.
  • Jesse's Cousin ( I don't recall his name ) had random chicks groove across the dance floor and make out with him. The guy just looks like a taller version of Ben Lee. He doesn't say a damn thing to them, just looks at them and they come a running! GRAHHH!!! *froths at the mouth with rage and envy*
  • Yes, as a matter of fact this song did play.
  • I gotta remember to not take my jacket along to nightclubs. There's nowhere to put it. *shakes head sadly*

Got home around 4, popped some Neurofen for my legs, feet and the raging headache I had. Headache has cleared up now, but the ringing in my ears is still very irritating.

Oh well, I'd better get ready to go out and celebrate Khoa's b-day.
Toodles.
