Ever see a woman try to walk with one high heel on? Not pretty.

As stolen from jai :
Muggers attack Anime Otaku specifically because they're weak but have loads of money.
Mind you, I've thought about this exact same... appropriation of financial funding from external sources scheme that said muggers have gone upon. Then upon reflection, I've lost track of the amount of people I know in the general Melbourne Anime community who are 1.) Street Smart or 2.) know how to fight. I'm not talking about pure dojo-martial-arts training, I'm talking about fighting to win. Dojo's all well and good, but it lacks a certain amount of practicality.
...
Still, rather amusing.

So my Dad's called me up and told me that he's arriving a day earlier (Sat instead of Sun) and leaving a coupla days earlier to save a coupla hundred bucks on tickets. I can really appreciate him saving money, even though it does cut his trip short significantly. Nonetheless I'm a little miffed that it's occuring so soon. I was banking on that Sat day to do every last bit of cleaning which hasn't happened yet. Even if he does tend to do some cleaning anyway, I like to believe that he can come in and see that we're not complete slobs. Well I know I'm not a complete slob. Bob... *glares at the living room* I swear if I left for six months and came back, I wouldn't be able to open the door with the amount of packrat collections she'd do.

On the plus side, it does mean that I can attend some of the weekend events going on this month. *wipes sweat off brow* They were starting to worry me a little. Especially since one of them involves gaming. ^___^ Yeah, I'm a gaming addict. I honestly believe that it was easier kicking smoking than any attempt I've made at kicking gaming. Sure, I can go for a solid month without gaming. Just put the controller back in my hands and load up a competitive game, and WHAMMO! I'm back in the addiction phase. Thankfully, I've never joined any MMORPG long enough to grab hold of me and keep me there. Yes, I am very carefully avoiding WarCrack. Why do you ask?

Speaking of gaming addictions, here's something rather nifty, courtesy of our friends at YouTube.com. That's dedication there to do that. Plus, the Mario Theme is appropriate. I've yet to meet a gamer who can't recognize it.

And last but not least... Mortal Kombat: Armageddon!!! ^___^ MK shall never die!
