Slow Writer with Muse Issues Seeking Long Term Relationship With Final Beta

Slow writer with muse problems seeking long term relationship with Final Beta. Must be a grammar Nazi and preferably able to Brit Pick also. I may require kicks in the arse to get writing and occasional sound-boarding, but I make up for it by not being overly sensitive about con-crit and being good humored in general. Brava to you for being such a great, open-minded author. I am keeping my fingers crossed that your beta will appear very soon. I think you two will be unstoppable!

I'd love to see some of your work, with an eye toward a more permanent arrangement. Drop me a line if you're interested! p.stgulik -- at -- gmail.com

Definitely interested, if you're up to the task. :-) What would you like to see? I've got one un-posted chapter of S,R ready for someone to rip into, but I would also like to get S,R completely re-beta'd all by the same person at some point just to finally get it right and even it out (it's been through about five betas).

I've had different betas do and redo and undo each other's work more than once, and I've gotten to the point of being completely confused. I know when I re-read some of the older chapters where this happened that they are wrong--I believe at least two or three may even be in worse condition than when I originally wrote them. It's been a bit frustrating.

Let me know what you would like to see and I'll send it--

Wow, five different betas, and they undid each other's work? I'm really sorry to hear that! No wonder you feel confused. I can imagine you'd begin to question your sanity after people do and undo and redo your work.

Why don't you just send me the latest chapter of whatever fic needs checking, and we'll go from there. (Or a one-shot, if you prefer.) I'll check for continuity and SPaG. I'm American, but I have developed an eye for the most obvious British spellings and phrases as a fanfic beta and validator.
