YAY! New Nit-and-Brit Picker (Nathaniel Cardeu)!
It's nice to be back into the swing of things. Nathaniel Cardeu has agreed to be my final Nit-and-Brit picker after I've gone several months without, which is horribly nice of him. I've got an awful need to have my betas shred my hard work, so it's really wonderful having a Nit-And-Brit picker again. Not that he abuses me--he's very nice. But something about all that red ink on my poor chapters makes me just sigh with happiness and security.
Honestly, and people wonder why I've got a crush on Severus Snape.
He's gone through what I've got of Severus, Redux so far (which is why chapter ten is FINALLY posted here and TMB), as well as Of Felines and Family. Hermione's Favourite Gift is currently sitting in his queue, to be followed by the first couple chapters of The Other Extreme and The Monster.
While waiting for him to be able to catch up (The Monster is twenty chapters long so far!) I've managed to post the un-final-beta'd-draft of The Lucky One's chapter twenty, and as of tonight I've also completed the next chapter (Chapter Eleven) of Severus, Redux. It is with the alpha, BSC_AG as we speak.
I am trying to decide if I'm going to play with Scandalous, The Other Extreme, or another Chapter of The Lucky Ones, next. I am willing to take votes. ;-)
I've gotten a rather unexpectedly awesome response to my first Harmony fic, Hermione's Favourite Gift. It isn't my main ship, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to pull it off, and I quite honestly was expecting three or four reviews for the one-shot at most. with maybe another three or four randomly occurring over the next several months as people stumbled across it. Apparently the Harmony ship is bigger and stronger than I had given it credit for. That was both flattering and gratifying. Go figure.
