What's Your Halloween Horoscope?
Halloween was fun. After doing a whole lot of running around, I finally made it out to Kat's place and handed out candy to munchkins and then we got dolled up and headed downtown. We were with a friend of Mitch's who didn't have ID, though, so we couldn't get in anywhere to go dancing (which my feet are probably thanking me for today, since I was wearing boots with a four-inch heel... Instead, we ended up in a karaoke bar, which was cool, because Mitch had taken some voice lessons while she was in Japan and her already spectacular natural voice was even more amazing. And she and Kat did a really great duet. Their voices work really well together.
Then we went back to Kat's, took off all the makeup (though I was still covered in about four pounds of glitter!), and crashed. Today I helped Kat hook up her new washer and dryer, and then she drove me home. I think I managed to wash most of the glitter off me, so now I'm vegging while the laundry runs. So exciting!
Back to work tomorrow, sigh. Fun week off, with Brenn here and Halloween, but not very restful!
