Chores and hockey camp and laziness
So I'm clean and dressed, I took my garbage out, did the dishes, and am working on my laundry. Go me!
And now that I've been all productive, I'm going to veg out for the rest of the day, woo! And probably watch some hockey tonight, because I think my free preview of Centre Ice ends tomorrow, so I should watch some of the games on it!
Hockey camp yesterday went awesome. I can't believe next week is the last day! It went by so fast! We did some drills and stuff, and I wiped out hard when we were doing one where we were fighting for a puck and I did an awesome move where I pulled the puck past the girl I was paired up with and sort of behind me, but then when I tried to turn to get my stick back on the puck, I fell down, heh. Whoops! *giggles* Oh well. It was still fun.
Then my sister and her husband showed up just in time to watch me try to learn to skate backwards. They laughed at me a lot. And then right at the end they started teaching us how to turn from forwards to backward (which I sucked at!), but right at the end of the lesson I managed to get it and I was so proud! I'm still a little scared of falling, which is hampering me a little bit when I'm trying to do things like turning from front to back and vice-versa. Becky and Marc are going to take me out this winter and teach me some more, though, cause Marc has played hockey for years, and Becky has done figure skating and synchronized skating since she was little, so she's really good on skates.
Now I think I'm going to grab something to eat and flop in front of the TV and computer for the rest of the day while I finish up my laundry. :)
