(no subject)
Sigh. I still have no phone or internet. However, my phone SHOULD be hooked up tomorrow morning, and the order for my internet will go through on the next business day (Monday), and I should get my modem by Thursday. Of course, since I work Thursday, they won't be able to deliver it, and I'll probably have to go pick it up at the nearest postal outlet, but that's okay. So with any luck, I'll have my internet by the weekend. :)
So I'm at my parents' again, for tonight at tomorrow, and I should be back at my apartment on Sunday, hopefully with a phone. No internet yet, unless I can borrow an external dial-up modem from someone that will work with my computer. I'm supposed to have free unlimited dial-up until my high-speed modem arrives. However, what I might do, if my union ends up going on strike next week (I'm going to cross the picket lines, because with my new apartment and everything, I can't afford NOT to work), I would have to go in really early to avoid the pickets, and so might just stay here and go in with Mom in the mornings (we work at the same place). I'll have to wait and see.
