I do what I can with what I've got. That's all I've ever tried to do. The world isn't perfect. I know this, some of you do too. But most people just claim to know this, acting all surprised when things turn for the worst or the world shows its dark side. This isn't a fantasy place where things that should happen happen and all the bad just wisps away in the wind. There are bad people here, get over it. There are murders, thefts, all forms of evil. Deal with it. That's how it works. Evil, as much as you might hate it, is necessary. Without it, one cannot know what good is. Good is defined by what evil is not. It is a constant thing, one exists because the other does. Even then, good isn't always pure. There are good people who indulge in evil ways. There are men with good intentions then result in utterly evil things. If you don't like what I'm saying, then I'm sorry. But what do you want me to say? Do want me to lie to you? Tell you life is simple? Fine.
Yes, life is terribly simple and everything is black and white. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.
