Apparently Sarah has experience in the RP world. AND ENJOYS IT. Once again...things that could have been brought to my attention Tuesday. Nick, Jonah, Sarah, and I are thinking of running a VtM RP.... Yes... I see potential. Nick is just mad for the Malkavians,(pun, yay!) and I can so see Sarah as a Toreador.... But Jonah mystifies me. I could see him doing on of the more obscure clans, like Nosferatu, Tzimisce, or even Ravnor. As for me, I'm kind of torn. I still find myself loving the Gangrel, but being drawn more toward the Tremere. I don't know.
I have been researching what soucebooks I'll bee needing/want to get, and I think most of them are buyable as cheap e-books and/or downloadable. I'll need to talk more with Nick about where he wants this to take place and what kind of 'feel' he wants to have. Then the arduous process of defining the chronicle and shaping our own rules will begin. Not-so-fun times.
I seem to be the major veteran of VtM as the others have nearly no idea of how it works and Nick just has a vague idea. I already have a small feel for what -I- would like and what could work, but that will probably change. Whether or not Sabbat characters will be playable is something to consider... Especially when you consider that allowing Lasombra and Tzimisce characters can cause serious problems when playing socially with Camarilla NPCs. Not only that, but Ghouls are something to consider too. I'm sure that anyone who reads this probably has no friggin clue what the hell I'm talking about and I'm sure Matt would ask if he could buy pot from me.
