I hate to admit it, but...

Maybe Al Franken was right. Rush Limbaugh really is a big fat idiot.

From CNN:  "When did the measure of conservatism, when did the measure of success, when did the measure of progress, when did it become reaching out to Democrats?" Rush Limbaugh said on his show Wednesday.
"Why is it so hard to understand that what we want is to defeat those people? We view those people as threats to the American way of life, as we've always known it. We view liberals as a threat to the founding of this country," he said.

Yes. We must continue this "us versus them" shit that's sending our country down the toilet.

Whether those like Mr Limbaugh or his equivalent on the left realize it or not, this is not a country of Republicans and a country of Democrats. This are a country of Americans (and illegal immigrants, but I'll save that for another time). Partisan games have to stop.

The right and left will never agree on everything, but if they don't start agreeing on something soon, we're screwed, folks.

Also from that CNN article: Laura Ingraham also expressed disdain over McCain's victories on her show.
"McCain has so radicalized key conservatives that some have vowed to turn themselves into suicide voters next November by pulling the lever for Hillary Clinton," she said.

I don't get this at all. You disagree with your party's candidate on a couple of issues, so you vote for the person with which you disagree on everything. They've criticized McCain for agreeing with Clinton (although they won't tell us what he agrees with her on), then they're going to vote for her? Riiiiiiiight.
Laura, Rush, go eat a dick (preferably Ann Coulter's).
The rest of us are trying to pick a leader for our country.
