(no subject)
So I was pulling one of those "oh my god I don't think I'll make it as a Geologist unless I'm good at another science like chemistry or physics!!". And I hate chemistry. I came to the conclusion that physics was my only choice. Only problem is I've never taken a physics course since 6th grade (involving measuring the rate at which gravity and an inclined angle affected the speed of a truck going down it...I think). I IMed Mike McKinley, fellow XC captain and engineer extraordinaire, about my decision and he replied:
1:20 : Mike McKinley : i like physics
1:20 : Mike: i am lanky
1:20 : Mike: you are lanky too
1:20 : Mike: therefore you also should like physics
Made my day. At 1:20am! That was fast; I think I'll sleep till tomorrow now seeing as my day's been made.
Another thought: why am I double majoring in Marine Affairs? I might cut out that shit. If I'm going for physics now..might as well skip the pre-law shit.
